Boxbar Tech has officially launched automated, self-service bars in France, bringing our next-generation solutions to one of Europe’s most iconic venues — Paris La Défense Arena.
In partnership with Topivo Restauration, we activated across two major, back-to-back events. From a sell-out concert to top-flight rugby, Boxbar’s smart, scalable technology proved its value as the arena bar solution of choice.
Two Events. One Effortless Experience.
Paris La Défense Arena hosted two high-capacity events over one weekend in March:
Lenny Kravitz live in concert
Racing 92 vs. Union Bordeaux Bègles (UBB), Rugby Union
Different audiences. Different crowd flows. Different service patterns.
But with Boxbar, the experience stayed consistent: fast, intuitive and seamless.
Our mobile bars were strategically placed and moved around the venue, adapting to each event’s unique requirements.
"The flexibility to reposition units quickly between concert and match locations meant we were able to meet guest demand exactly where it was needed — without disruption."
Brendan Ropars, Business Development Manager - France, Boxbar Tech
What We Delivered
Across both events, Boxbar was deployed throughout the arena. Here’s what our setup included:
✅ 2 x 3 Bank Mobile Bar terminals
✅ 6 self-serve points of sale
✅ 12 taps pouring premium Krombacher beer
✅ Flexible unit placement across multiple high-footfall zones
✅ Thousands of satisfied fans served efficiently and consistently
Whether it was pre-show drinks, the halftime rush or post-match pours, Boxbar kept queues down and satisfaction up.
A Growing Presence in France
Paris was just the beginning.
With additional self-service bar deployments planned across France, Boxbar is expanding quickly and with a simple mission: to help operators serve quicker, reduce wait times for customers and boost revenues.
